Hello,
I think the three nuclear power plants in Ontario should be decommissioned, which will create 10 years of jobs (Ontario Clean Air Alliance). This technology is unsafe, as the waste and radiation is near fresh water and needs to be stored on and in Indigenous land for a long time. It is also expensive, and unsafe in relying on US tech, where France is leading in nuclear technology. I find the increase in nuclear energy use not that accountable, and agree with David Suzuki that an East-West energy corridor (renewable) is best long term, even economically. Thanks.
