I am opposed the nuclear progect in Port Hope
The land directly east of the site is one of the largest blocks of certified organic land in Northumberloand county growing grass fed beef and crops. I am concerned about the adverse effects this may have on organic farming ie air and water quality
Farmland is disappearing at an alarming rate in Ontario. I believe the co industry that this project will attact will have a large impact on surrunding farmland. Farming is the largest industry in Northumbland County and this project will have a detrimental effect on this.
