Bulldozing public good

The proposal to build this AI data center is flawed in multiple ways, mainly in this governments insistence on pushing through a obvious resource black hole for no discernible good to public. This creates little to no jobs, sucks a VAST amount of finite resources, and the environmental impacts have not and will not be assessed. Any other project of this magnitude would have SEVERAL large hoops to jump through, and yet these detrimental noise factories are being pushed through with no assessment  no promises or standards to upkeep the environment. 

Why is the greater public/environment going to be paying the price for an OBVIOUS long term issue?? What kick backs are being promised to the people who will not have to deal with the consequences of their choices, leaving everyone in gibbons and fort saskatchewan to suffer? 

What of the long term effects? Ban AI centre's.
