Pelican Lake First Nation Gas Bar Upgrade

An existing gas station at Pelican Lake First Nation will be upgraded . Plans are the replace diesel tank with existing AGI Envirotank for larger diesel storage (currently being used for gas) , Move ahead 40' to diesel position to allow installation of a 50,000lit tank, refurbished AGI Enviortank for gas. Install two new 4.5'x8' stainless steel islands c/w ULC dispenser sumps, APT dual contained line and associated equipment. This includes 20' Cree LED lights and poles, Bennett 4000 dispensers . Electrical permit will also need to be put in, electricians will do this. 

Tanks are registered with Environment and Climate Change Canada. All equipment and material used is ULC and or CSA approved to meet national fire code and environmental standards  The new upgrade will comply with all the Federal Regulations. We will also be doing a line test and cathodic protection test on the existing cathodic protected underground line system as per Environmental requirements. 

This is an existing gas station that has been in operation for several decades.  Water and sewer are connected to community system, and utilities are in place.

July 13, 2021 - Indigenous Services Canada issued its notice of determination Notice of determination for the Pelican Lake First Nation Gas Bar Upgrade - Canada.ca (iaac-aeic.gc.ca) and determined that the project is not liekly to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
