Blanket Permit - SaskPower - Wapachewunak First Nation (English River First Nation)

Electrical Distribution Infrastructure - Permit for the whole of Wapachewunak First Nation No. 92D for as long as needed. SaskPower may install and maintain electrical distribution lines and all structures, poles, cables, anchors, pipes, conduits, apparatus and equipment in relation thereto on the above noted reserve. Activities under the blanket permit may include but are not limited to: surveying, affixing, constructing, placing, replacing and repairing, maintaining, operating and removing electrical distribution lines and all structures, poles, wires, cables, anchors, pipes, conduits, apparatus and equipment in relation thereto, and all works necessary or appurtenances ancillary and useful in connection with or incidental to the construction, operation or maintenance of electrical distribution lines.

 

SaskPower may use roads and trails for access to and from electrical distribution lines to complete the above-mentioned activities. All garbage and debris generated will be removed and disposed of in an approved receptacle or facility.

 

Distribution facilities may be placed in close proximity to wetlands and drainages, but efforts are made to avoid these features where feasible. Any work near fish-bearing waterways or wetlands will undergo a Department of Oceans and Fisheries (DFO) self-assessment and further review.
