Dauphin River Small Craft Harbour Dredging and Pile Installation

Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Small Craft Harbours is planning a project at the Dauphin River Small Craft Harbour located on the Dauphin River in Manitoba. This project includes: 

  • Dredging 850 cubic metres of material from the entrance channel and offloading area in order to maintain safe navigation within the harbour 
  • Installation of 4 steel anchor piles to increase safety and efficiency of harbour oeprations and maintenance related to float installation and removal 

Latest update

September 22, 2025 – Fisheries and Oceans Canada Small Craft Harbours has issued it's Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
